The Missing Person South Africa portal handles sensitive information. This privacy page explains the practical principles used for submissions, admin review, public directory records, and WordPress draft preparation.
Information submitted through the portal
The report form may collect missing person details, police details, reporter contact details, consent confirmations, and uploaded images.
Reporter contact details are intended for admin review and follow-up. They are not displayed in the public directory.
Images and storage
Uploaded images are stored for case review and public awareness when consent has been given. The system may also generate a branded featured image for WordPress draft use.
The original uploaded image is kept separately from generated featured images.
Public records
The public directory only displays approved public information and links to the full WordPress report. It does not display reporter contact details, internal admin notes, or private review information.
Published information may be indexed by search engines and shared by readers.
